So happy to see this, sort of thought it was strange to see a lineup without Chewie - even if it was repackaging the earlier version. So glad to see a new version, can't wait to pick this up.

SH Figuarts is making this same version of Chewie. Does my collection really need FIVE 6 inch Chewie figures? (this, the previous 2 Hasbro, and the 2 SH Figuarts versions)

So this is supposed to possibly be out this Friday as well? I'm hoping so, although I haven't seen any "leaks" of this guy yet. I know it is probably mostly re-used, but it is kind of strange to see a main character like Chewie as a store exclusive.

I've also heard it will be out on Friday. And if it follows the previous pattern, I won't see it for 6 weeks and then suddenly it will be the only figure in stock

I wound up picking up this version of Chewie today.  Glad to find it on the first day that it's supposed to be in stores.

Every store here now shows this In Stock according to Brickseek.

Not a single one of them has any on the shelves.

I didn't see the one I got on the shelf.  I looked in the aisle and on the endcap, but no Chewies.  I was about to walk away when an employee asked if there was something I was looking for.  I mentioned "the new Black Series exclusive figure", and he said "Oh, Chewbacca?  We have that right here" and he pointed to an open carton on his stock cart.  They had 2 left and I grabbed one.

BTW, good eyes, Jayson.  I had no idea about the forestock on Chewie's blaster.  That kind of a functional feature is pretty awesome!  But the fact that some might be shipping with that part missing sort of sucks.

I got lucky and got one of these last night. There were 3 total, all in the endcap, and all of them were the error reported by Yakface with no pump handle on the shotgun. So I guess I'm also going to be on the hunt for the corrected version.

Also of note, they all had less than stellar paint jobs on the eyes. I got the most decent one, but the eyes all ranged from "crosseyed" to "derp derp derp"

Great figure, happy to have found him, bump stock and all, or whatever.

I saw a box of SWB 6" figures on a pallet at Target marked as "Hercules" - is that this Chewie?

Was hoping it might be the Gammy, but I doubt i'm that lucky.
