First Image Gallery (Hasbro) Update For The Day

There will be more!

Ignore the lack of thumbnails for now and just surprise yourselves as you browse haha.  I have to get them uploaded but didn't want to delay getting pictures up any longer.

More galleries of other places and things inbound, and more Hasbro pics for later in the day now too.

Thanks Muftak.  It is appreciated. :)

Hasbro didn't drop a lot of bombs and stuff but there is some cool in there for sure.

6" really had the most cool to it.  5POA had the cool reveal of all the Solo mains though, and while I kinda loathe 5POA, I do enjoy at least having the mains done for a film if I know I basically can't count on them being done in TVC.

I wish TVC had a little more to it, but I get that they have to hold off for other shows too.  The Q&A part about how they're adjusting to fewer (how?) waves and more new is interesting.

I like that Chopper seemed to get the bells and whistles.

Rio Durant deserves a SA 4" figure too.  Love that little dude.

Our Q&A with Hasbro has been posted - San Diego Comic-Con 2018 - JediDefender Q&A with Hasbro

Thanks again to Darth_Anton (Anthony) for asking the questions! :)

Thanks for taking the time and effort for that, Darth A.

Glad to know they are gearing towards a "completed" line of the Vintage figures.

The non-answer to the "Are there more Cantina Aliens coming?" seemed to indicate there are but Steve was trying to recall what he can reveal when and settled for a "I dunno." approach. That's promising.

I only wish we could have followed up the "Rogue One" Stormtrooper questioning with a nudge for a companion "Rogue One" Rebel Fleet Trooper. Ah well, next time.

They seemed to really appreciate your excitement and politeness, as did I.

Stellar job!

Anton got my "hey, why no basic carded 5POA Han?" question in there, which was sorta torpedo'd by the MudTrooper Han being announced, but it was nice to hear them basically admit 'yeah, we wanted people buying stuff to get Han'.  :P

At least the answer was honest haha.  I'm glad TVC Han is that Han though, really.  One of my most anticipated figures in that line coming up.  I just wish we were getting ALL the other mains in that line as well.

I'd like to take a moment again, as always, to thank Darth_Anton (Or "Ant" as I've come to call him!) for helping us again with coverage of the show.  SDCC is a show too complex, far, and probably too overwhelming for someone like me to attend.  It's just a show I know I won't ever be able to attend, and every year we're helped out tremendously by Anthony, who is there on his dime, his time, and with his family to boot.  We've been very lucky to have someone willing to act on our behalf out there for us, and always do it professionally and with real enthusiasm to boot.  I'd be drained I think, doing a fraction of what he does while he's there, haha.

The show is made increasingly difficult to go to every year as well, so that's another thing to remember.  It really is a lot of hoops to jump through just to get into it these days it seems.  Not to mention tracking down exclusives and stuff!  Ant's always offering to do any/everything he can.  I'm really happy to have gotten to know him and his family a little better through covering the shows and being in contact like we are.  I live vicariously through him, haha.

He's there live-texting to me information from Hasbro, sending pictures, details...  He really is doing a lot, so thanks again to him (and his family) for giving up their time and helping us as much as they do.  He was on his way home last I spoke to him and was still going to be uploading more pictures for me later too.  Just fantastic work, as always from him. Thanks man!
