6" Black Series Solo Wave 5
« on: February 12, 2019, 11:46 AM »
Not an official line-up being solicited yet, but it's looking more likely this is the mix for the next wave of BS6" figures...

2x TPM Battle Droid
2x AOTC Padme Amidala
1x ROTS Mace Windu
1x SOLO Dryden Vos
1x SOLO Han Solo (Mudtrooper)
1x TLJ Vice Admiral Holdo

Nice! Obviously should have been 2 Mud-troopers and 1 Padme but that's Hasbro for ya.  ;)

Gee, look at that - etailers are now taking pre-orders for this wave.  Quite the coincidence that I started this thread yesterday...  ;)

I really like this wave.  Padme and Mace look excellent, and are good choices considering they are from less popular/older flicks.

From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Also stolen from Yakface front page, these have hit Target in Oregon

Score!  ;D I was shocked to find this whole wave on the pegs at Target this morning. Usually it's a least a week or two for them to trickle out from WA to VA. Now I just need an extra Mudtrooper...

I found and picked up a random Battle droid. Although I'm not a big fan of the character, it's arguably one of the best TBS figures. Outside of a odd lack of waist articulation, the rest is perfect making one of the most posable in the entire SW line.

Agreed with your sentiments on the Battle Droid.  I just can't figure out where the accessory goes.... Anyone?

You mean the antenna?  You can pose him with either the backpack or the antenna -

Thanks, Jeff!  I figured it was an antenna, but I figured it snapped onto the backpack somewhere.  Good to know we can make variations!

Most of this wave turned up in stock briefly on Amazon (at the $19.99 price point) today.  They still have the wave at inflated prices from some 3rd party sellers.  But I was able to order a couple of Battle Droids yesterday and Han, Holdo, Padme and Mace Windu today.  It was kind of weird that I couldn't get Dryden Vos, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Found this wave (minus Mace) at Target last week. They all look pretty great, again just amazing how much the face scan improves these. Passed on Holdo for now, as display space for the 6" stuff is kind if limited for me. The Padme and Mudtrooper Han are standouts for me.

My cousin found this wave at a WM in Kansas City. First I had heard it being at a WM
