Really cool to see them really supporting the barge with releases like this. I was able to get one preordered after missing all of the preorders this morning at Target. Looks great, I thought the last release always felt a little flimsy, and I had guys falling off of it all the time.

The skiff looks great, especially with the stand.  A+

Yup I mean that’s one sexy chunk of plastic there.

Removable panels exposing wiring and greeblies?  The hooks to put piles and other gear on?  The ability to list for the Han saving Lando scene, including the wiring tangle for Han’s feet?  The floaty stand?  The proper scaling (I’m betting it is spot on to the model or the lifesize prop if looked at closely)?  The details for the driver controls?  This thing is fantastic.  I still have one potf2 one I may customize now.

This was a highlight piece for me with the JP scene.

That's a remarkable upgrade from the original POTF release which we've seen reissued a couple of times during the modern era.  I had 2 of the POTF2 versions and the Ultimate battle pack version, too.  I sold off one of my POTF2 Skiffs and I'm kind of tempted to sell the other now, too.

The width alone of this new Skiff is a major upgrade, and you can probably put a good deal more figures on the deck of the Skiff now!  And to me, the new Skiff just SCREAMS "Make a Vintage 3-pack with Luke, Boba Fett (ROTJ deco) and Han Solo" for their fight scene.  The stand is a nice selling point since the vintage version only ever had landing gear to stand it up.  The control station for the driver/pilot is looking like a significant upgrade, too.  And the removable plating and interchangeable parts are just icing on the cake.

I put in my order on Hasbro Pulse as soon as I saw it went live.

Anybody know what "available at select retailers" means?  Is this online only?

Anybody know what "available at select retailers" means?

It's their new wishy-washy text.  It means you might see it at Target.com, but probably not the retail Target stores (like the Tank).

Thanks Jeff.  That works for me.  The tank was pretty easy to come by online.

Hopefully that means that Hasbro did well enough with the tank, and understands the collector community well enough to make new things available through these online only channels.

Its a lot better than "WalMart Exclusive", which means generally not available in store or online.

Disconcerting that the pre-orders sold out so quickly. I was working and never even had a shot. I can't imagine it not being gettable.

Looks fantastic though! Can't wait to have one or two!

I heard the Hasbro guys saying during a Q&A session yesterday that MSRP on the Skiff is $49.99.  But when I got my order in on Hasbro Pulse the price was $39.99.  Either that was one heck of a promotion, or someone dropped the ball at the Pulse site.

The skiff is very nice and makes me regret not buying a barge. Not that I have anywhere to put it.

Man, I hope they get that thing back up on preorder. I'm definitely getting at least two!

This will be a nice companion to my POTF2 Skiff.  I wish I had a place to put the Barge.
This is the way.

Went up at Dorkside as well. Had to jump on it. $40 seems reasonable too. So glad they re-did this!

Will probably pick up a 2nd one after this is released.
