Watch every gas station have a commercial for Star Wars.  At that point I'd become suspicious.

If you think now is bad, just wait five years when refineries production will plummit with China and the pacfic rim taxing the amount of production you ain't seen nothing yet. If I where you I would be seriously thinking about a hybrid or live really close to work. This is only the beginning of bad things to come. I'm not kidding I might be off a few years but in the very near future Consumptiopn levels will tap production levels and then the production levels will plummit causing gas prices of the like you can't even begin to phathom.

Up here in taxland, we pay 85.9 cents a litre, which comes out to $3.24 a gallon.  I believe over 50% of that cost is due to taxes.   I love Canada!  :'(

It just went over $2 a gallon here. It's $1.98 in some places, $2.03 in most others.

Can't wait to see $3 a gallon when summer rolls around...  ::)

My parents drive me nuts with the gas prices.  Why?  Because I have to hear the following.  "Gas station xx over on such and such street has gas for 1 penny lower than Gas stations bb,  yy and zz.  You should go get gas tonight there to SAVE MONEY!!!"

They drive all over the place all the time trying to find the cheapest gas price.  Yet, they have allready wasted the money on gas that it would have taken just to stop at one place and get it there and get on with life.

I know, it's no big deal but I hear it ALL the time from them and it's just annoying as hell.

LOL!

I got a few 7 cent off coupons from DOMO, so that will bring it down to 77.9 cents per litre from 84.9 but still... :-\

Same with my Grandparents.

Yikes.

Oh well, when I have a house, a mortgage, children, a full time job, bills, and a hobby, I'll be a penny pincher too.

Most Pittsburgh News stations are running a thing where they tell you the cheapest in your area.

I'm irked because Giant Eagle is under fire here because they are giving the $.10 coupons for shopping at their stores (Every $50 you spend gets you $.10/Gal. off at "Get-Go" pumps), and now all the gas stations are bitching that it's not fair and they're trying to get it stopped.

Which, if they did do that, I'll be going to Get-Go out of spite to the others, irregardless.  Their price will just be the same as everyone else, so I'll go there and give the finger to all the other stations.  They can lose money.  I hope they rot, the bastards.

I have all that stuff to.  However, it's also hard hearing it from them because they like to eat out everday at McDonald's for breakfast and lunch.  So, they really are not penny pinching.  Tell them that though and I risk the arguement of the century.

It's been 89.9 here for a week.   >:(

Our all time high here is 95.9 for regular.

Unfortunately, the most I've paid for gas is 104.9 ($1.049/litre) because my car runs on Premium.  Of course, the dealer never told us that - I found that out after we bought it.    >:(  >:(
