Stupidest crap ever... just like stimulating the economy with a $300.00 tax cut check.

This is a shady attempt at getting public support for a bill that will backdoor us into drilling in wild-life preserves:

Might as well tap every source of oil we have until it's depleted.  Then, and only then, will this country realize that we need to develop a new alternative source to oil.

I know you already know this but why would they want to take their huge profits and then build refineries that would drive the prices down and reduce their profits?

And  can't wait to hear the Repubs during the upcoming campaign:  "We wanted to give Americans $100 for gas, but the Democrats stopped us!"  Sneaky way to try to get the drilling in Alaska passed.

It's really not surprising that Snow was hired to be the next press secretary.  A Republican administration wants someone (who leans to the right) that is going to spin stories to make them look good.

Well, if you look at it in the context of Wal-Mart business practices, volume may be the key.  Even if oil prices dropped because of more refining capacity, they may be able to post bigger profits.

Cheaper gas = more Americans driving = increased consumption of oil.

I know my driving habits have changed because of the bleak outlook of gas prices.  Hell, I don't even go shopping at the brick and mortars anymore when it comes to electronics, movies and toys.
