This thread is for you, Tom.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is one of the elite, one of my all time favorites. Quite an inspiration, post your thoughts...

The only boxed set I own is Petty's.  I'm a fan.  Great driving music.   :)

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers... one of my favorites!  If I'm ever in a bad mood for whatever reason, all I have to do is put any of his music into the CD player and things seem to be much better.

Best concert I ever saw.  It was the last concert ever at the Boston Garden before they tore it down.  I was in college at the time and a bunch of us went (about 20).  Four of us got tickets off VH1 and were two rows off the floor, while the rest were spread out throughout the Garden.

Before the show, we all piled into a Uhaul van and partied in a parking lot across the street from the Garden.  It was great and to tell you the truth, I don't remember much of the pre-party but the concert is almost crystal clear.  An amazing show by an amazing band.

Like Brent said, great driving music.
