Back in in 1997 I found a c8.5 Barada at a flea market, I bought it for half-a-dollar. It was missing the weapon but still cheap, later got his weapon. Traded it for a Han Solo (Carbonite).

This meens I actually got a vintage Han Carbonite for half-a-dollar.

Picked this up the other day.   8)

Tomart's Price guide to Worldwide Star Wars HARD COVER

Hope it gets here soon considering I paid $19. US to have it shipped here.

Well what a crap deal this was. Seller said he sent the book out & I never received it. Exchanged a few emails with him & he said he sent another book out. Well 3 months have gone by & nothing!

He gave me a positive feedback a few days after I won & now I have had no choice but to leave him a negative. ******* ******* stole my $48.

If you want to read all about it, heres the thread at RS:

Hardcover Tomarts guide (with protos) cheap

At least with this auction, I got the negative in not like some other eBay seller that flaked out on some of us!

Who is still selling up a storm ::)

Sorry you got screwed on that book, I was interested to hear your impressions of it as I was thinking about getting a copy too.  Any particular reason he hasn't refunded you?

He has no communication, very unprofessional & takes forever to answer emails. Some of us got the impression we were talking with 2 different people in the emails. You would figure for $19. shipping that you would get the book in no time.  ::)

As for a refund, not a word from him!  >:(

Oh well, I'll chalk it up to another loss.  :-\

I got a great deal a few weeks ago. My aunt dropped off some figures at my new apartment one day. They were:

Blue Snaggletooth, my 2nd one
Biker Scout, which I didn't have yet
And a couple Galoob ST:TNG figures, Riker and Tasha Yar

The best part? They were FREE. I **** you not, FREE!!

My 1st Blue Snaggletooth I got for $3.50. The next was free. Can't beat that in this day and age.

Very nice scores. Yeah, that hatch gun is going to be tough, keep an eye out though, ya never know.

Does the wind up R2 still work? Looks to be in great shape.  8)

Yes sir, perfectly ;D!

The guy also had a bagged one for $95.00 USD, the only problem was that both legs were yellow, and that would bother me.

Super, just missing the front stickers but hey, not bad at all. Its sure lots of fun watching him walk.   ;D

This R2 was missing both the front & back stickers & it went for more than what you paid.

$60 is a very good price.  A local guy sold one much more yellow with no stickers locally about the same time I picked mine up.  His sold around $70, so nice deal.   :)

Brent and Dale,

Thanks for the reassurance.

The Takara R2 is a keeper, I am going to sell the other two pieces as I got home and can't find a proper place to display them :(.

A pleasant surprise in the mail today  ;D!

$20 USD, this is the light brown version, I could not find any completed auctions at the time, what does this usually run?  Which version is harder, this or the dark brown hair version?
