Atkins Diet

Today (10/21) was my official first day back on the Atkins diet, and my goal is to lose a minimum of 25 pounds.  I did the diet a few years ago, and had lost 20 pounds in one month.  So, I'm hoping to have the same success losing the weight and keeping it off.

Does anyone else do the Atkins Diet or other low-carb diets?

No offense meant to you Chris and good luck with the diet but from people I have known who have done the low carb thing the bounce back after switching off the low carb diet almost always results in more weight gain than what was lost

I realize the Atkins Diet works but I truly believe that only with a complete lifestyle change and eating a well balanced meal in correct serving sizes along with excersize is the only true way to get and maintain ideal weights.

You need to change life habits forever (no more carbs for the rest of your life) to maintain and I don't believe most people are willing to forego sweets, pop, potatos etc
