Currently, this guy:

(His newer, American Recordings stuff, actually--but is there a cooler picture in the world than that one?  I don't think so.)

I had that as my background for a while.  I love that picture.  Lately I'm listening to a lot of Ryan Adams and Yeah Yeah Yeahs romancing that 80's nostalgia.

Everclear - So Much for the Afterglow and Sparkle and Fade

Foo Fighters - One by One

Soul Asylum - Grave Dancers Union

Billy Joel - Greatest Hits Volums I and II and Greatest Hits Volume III

Currently listening to the second-greatest album of the millennium:

I've been switching back and forth exclusively between At the Gates and Vivaldi for the last 3 weeks or so.

Oh, man, don't tell me I'm the only ***** who went out and bought this:

I've got all the albums with all of these songs anyway (well, except for the "Sympathy for the Devil" cover, but I never much cared for it...), but it just felt good to go in and buy a "new" Guns N Roses cd.

"Really?  Sorry."

Nah, I'm a ***** too.  But my excuse is that I collect Greatest Hits CDs, so this one was a given for the collection.

Hopefully they come out with something a little more interesting and comprehensive on down the line, but I guess this will have to do for now.  Still a pretty good listen with all these songs together...   8)
