What do you think of it so far, Scott?  I bought it but haven't listened to it yet.

Well, here's the deal...

I haven't really listened to any Coldplay at all outside of what I have heard on the radio and commercials.  A friend told me that I would probably like them so I saw it at Target yesterday and bought it.  I think its OK...I have been noticing more and more that i have some severe radio ADD in the car and I can't listen to the same thing for more than 5-10 minutes and so I haven't really gave it a real shot yet

I guess it didn't grab me as anything groundbreaking or anything, I have heard it described as being "More of the same" in regards to their other work

I've been streaming it from MTV.com and it's alright. It really doesn't break any new ground, that's for sure, so I have no idea where the Radiohead comparison comes from.

"Speed of Sound" sounds similar to "Clocks" so it's no wonder that was the first single.

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me by The Cure

"for how much longer can I howl into this wind?
for how much longer can I cry like this?
a thousand wasted hours a day
just to feel my heart for a second
a thousand hours just thrown away
just to feel my heart for a second"

Just got it the other day, some great sounds from DT and you can't be a near 25 minute epic song!
