"i feel you pulling back,
i feel you changing shape..."

I was never into "live" albums until I heard that one. Its weird but for me some of the songs seem to impact me far more off that album. (Love the studio versions of the songs as well, just seems to have more feeling to me on that album though....)

The following two albums usually have songs from them playing at some point on my computer almost everyday...

Limited Edition 2-CD set God Module Viscera
Favorite lyric quote from the song Altered Image:
"One night I will find you cutting out the peices of the person I knew, one chance to put them back together... one last chance for us to be forever"

The Danse Society - Heaven is Waiting
Favorite lyric quote from the song Angel:
"The night will rise, the night will fall, some of us will take it all"
...carbon stars with ancient satellites colonized by sentient fungi. Gas giants inhabited by vast meteorological intelligences. Worlds stretched thin across the membranes where dimensions intersect...

I'll go ahead and take the chronological route...

Quick update here... I've listened to the CD's chronologically, and I have to say the black album is my favorite overall. The Call of Ktulu, from Lightning, is probably my favorite song of theirs... followed by Welcome Home, from Puppets.

I'm tempted to check out the album following the black album.

Not a huge Black Crowes fan, but upon someones recommendation I picked this up.  Take in mind that these were all leftover songs.  Most are better than anything that has been released before.  I would compare it as a cross between early 70's Clapton and 70's Stones.  Good stuff. Check it out.

I'm tempted to check out the album following the black album.

Or you could stop at the Black album.  It only gets worse from there...

Glad you like the The Call of Ktulu, that's one of my favs as well.

If you like Radiohead; if you like bluegrass; if you like Weird Al's polka medleys. . .

Then click here and download the MP3.
