Daaa-yum...what kind of radio stations do they have where you are?

I should have known a commie bastard like you would be into Consolidated, too.  ;)  I'm not familiar with some of those bands, but if "birds of a feather," then I'll have to check them out.

As for me, right now, I've been listening to "Lost Dogs," as well as giving the Dandy Warhols "Welcome to the Monkey House" another shot...but so far I still think it sucks.

Well, I'm just really into THAT kind of music. Plus being a DJ, you have to keep up wit dat chit! The only stations that play anything like that here are community radio and college radio stations, but college stations only broadcast on campus, so you have to live close or pick it up on a hammie...

That's disappointing about the Dandies. "Bohemian Like You" was, IMO, the best alt-rock song of 2000...

Holy crap...did I miss the other three horsemen of the apocolypse?  The best Cure song in a decade is on the new Blink 182 album.  Robert Smith--yes, that Robert Smith :o--sings lead vocals on "All of This," and it's a pretty good song (and not just because it doesn't mention poo or pee or farts).

In fact, the whole album isn't all that bad.

"Really?  Sorry."

Now Playing: Smashing Pumpkins, Adore

Good album.  Underrated.

And for some strange reason, for a brief period of time yesterday, I had "Heaven" by the awful and terrible Warrant running through my head.  Probably haven't heard that song at all in over ten years or so.  Weird.

Thats easily one of my fav. albums of all time. It's just too bad there are so many people that chose to be ignorant, and assume their stuff all sounds the same. There really isn't much comparison between "Meteora" and the 1st album. Of course, there are going to be some like song structures because some bands of their own "brand", but the rest is very unique.

BTW, I saw the video from Korn's "Right Now" on some weird new music station like IMV, something on DirecTV. It was done by Spike and Mike, twisted stuff indeed. Looks like Jon has put on some pounds as well, but atleast he lost that child molester-esque half moustache.

You can take me home, but I will never be your girl, and I won't let your mystery unfurl. . .
