Help me on this: Announcers/poker players are always talking about "outs". In this scenario, how many outs did you have? You could have won only if you got a full house or 4 of a kind. That's assuming that he wouldn't be able to improve his hand on the river, and it doesn't look like he can. So 4 of a kind is 1 K, and full is 3 8s, 3 As, and 3 Qs.
