« on: February 11, 2004, 06:52 PM »
I found this over at Natalie Portman.com, found it a little funny cause George Lucas looks so tired, he has huge bags under his eyes, but if you guys have any comedy pics i would like to see them, but here is the one i found:

Do you mean Jar Jar is a funny character or it was just funny putting him in there?

Jar Jar, as a character, is a joke (EI anyway, he somewhat redeems himself in EII).  Stepping in a pile of sh!t, having a Tatooinian camel fart in your face and sticking your tongue in a souped up hot rod's engine isn't funny (and this coming from someone who loves gross humor) and doesn't belong in a Star Wars movie.

No visuals here, but it's still kind of funny.  Some of you have probably already seen this though.  Please forgive me for all the ">"s in there, but that's how it shows up in my e-mail, and I sure as hell ain't going to delete all that crap.

Grant, that post reminds me of something similar regarding Luke's training on Dagabah.  I think it came out after TPM and instead of just Obi Wan and Yoda, Qui Gon showed up and the whole history of SW was a jumbled mess.  I think even the Walrusman himself, Ponda Baba showed up.  I'll have to see if I can dig it up.
