The CGI looks a little fake, and I don't remember the Hulk being able to fly.   ::)

Actually, that's the Hulk's super-leaping ability.  His legs are powerful enough that he can jump about three miles in a single leap.

Yep, uber long jumps were common in the comic books, so this doesn't seem that out of character.  Suspension of disbelief necessary yes, but not out of the realm of possibility (oh, I am so full of it).

The trailer looked a bit crappy, but that's coming from someone who was never a fan of Hulk in the first place. I'm not gonna watch this, not even if it's put on TV.

I'll probably go see it when it comes out in theaters, but it's not on my priority list (of movies that I must go out to see).  Of course the hulk is going to look fake... it's all CGI.  What do you expect?  They could have used someone better for the main actor though, at least someone with a reputable name.  I know Lou Firigno (sp?) asked to play the role of the Hulk, but they wanted to do a CGI version instead.

In this day and age, Ferrigno simply couldn't pull it off and be comparable to all the FX stuff we see.  I'll reserved judgement on the flick until I see it.  The hype is astronomical, even the case of Mountain Dew I brought home has the Hulk on it (and on the cans) ::)

I hope it's a huge hit, if only to get the 80 billion Hulk figures jamming the pegs at all the stores. ::)

Ww, them's some harsh words, harsh words.  ;D ut alas my curiosity has gotten the better ofme and  hae to go, just like I did with Daredevil.  But I am not going in wth high expectations. When I come back I'll ost on wht I thgouht of the movie, but I promise no spoilers. Not that it matters with this bunch, since none of you seem to want to see it!!! ;D

But with Hulk dogs, I can't blame you. Oh well we'll see tonight.

Oh, and I want to see it. I get off on Friday at 12:00 :) So i'll be there after lunch. I'm going in with 55% of my thinking it will suck and 45% thinking it'll be cool. We'll see what happens. The CG sucked when I first saw it... I just hope they were able to touch it up even more for the final version. Doubt it though...

The local paper gave it 1 star...

I was really not ever going to see it after reading somewhere that the President of Marvel said something to the effect of:

"we'll make 200 million just of the comic geeks, it's a no lose situation"

Bastage, no way in heck am I going to pay to see this dreck in a theater

And, I hope Target, Wally World and TRU choke on the craptacular amount of merchandise they are trucking in...idiots

We have 2 local newspapers. Out of 5 stars, the Sun gave it a 1 1/2 & the Journal gave it a 3 1/2.

I'll wait till I can download it off the net. Cheaper that way.  ;)
