Cool, a seated Plo Koon and Eeth Koth! BTW I'm going to merge this with the existing JC thread we had going last fall!

That's OK...I don't think there is a thread really discussing these new sets, I do know there was this one though.

For the rumored record the four new sets are:

JC #3 Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn and Ki-Adi Mundi (March 2004)
JC #4 Obi Wan, Plo Kloon, Eeth Koth (May 2004)
JC #5 Shaak Ti, Coleman Trebor, Stass Allie (July 2004)
JC #6 Anakin Skywalker, Saesee Tiin, Adi Gallia (September 2004)

Lets hope Ki, Shaak, Coleman, Saesee and Adi are all seated, which leaves Depa or Evan Seated (that last one is has a fat chance) as the only remaining Members

I'm wondering if Stass or Adi is actually Depa and the person who gave the info is incorrect

Hard to tell if from that fuzzy pic if they sink or swim to me. Looks like there is a lot of kit-bashing happening there. Nothing inherently wrong with it, but not exactly earth-shattering excitement.

Yeah.  A big 'oh, well' for me.  I suppose Eeth is interesting because he can be an Arena version, what's his name?  Otherwise, blah.

Man people are really dogging this set around the boards...why?  What did you expect?  True the Obi-Wan is pretty much crap but how else are they supposed to represent Plo and Eeth?  The only real major gripe is the lack of robes...

I didn't hear the same complaints about the lack of a robe on Mace

My only gripe will be the look on Eeth Sloth's face...  I'm hearing he's got the same screaming face the POTJ figure had.  The rest of the set looks relatively decent to me though.  Good enough anyway...

Better than the 1st two sets I think, as Mace is all but useless from his set, with his goofy hand, and awkwardly sculpted articulation.  He's customizeable if those damned things would ever clearance at TRU though.

Looky looky what's up on eBay...   8)

Stoked to see that they're going to be including the middle flooring section pieces!  Wonder if they'll double up on them to make up for having none in the first two sets?  Now all we need are some decent backdrops for each set.  Looks like there's grooves included in the back of the plastic set pieces to hold just that.  Wonder if they'll ever deliver, or if we'll have to hit up some of the better customizers around here for a nice set...

Couple individual shots here too, so you can get a better look at 'em...

Still blows that they don't all have the appropriate cloth capes, but there's enough of those floating around from the old Target accessory sets that should hopefully suffice.

Guess these should be showing up Stateside in about another month or two, now that they're up on the Bay.  I wonder if these are going to be in the OTC packaging, or if they'll look consistent with the prior couple of Screen Scene sets...  Whatchya' guys think/want?  I'd prefer them to just look the same as the old ones, myself...

I could go into a long rant about the recycling of parts, but it's the calling card of TRU exclusives. The problem then is the parts they've chosen to use. They easily could have made better use of parts, like for instance the Qui-Gon could have had better arms than what they gave him. They could have certainly used a better Yoda as well. I'll be passing on these, not even a swanky middle piece can save these sets in my eyes. In fact these sets will probably kill the Screen Scene concept for good.

I am happy to see they will be including the floor on the sets. It is going to rock.

If you look closely at the figures in this set it is such a rehash of old figures...I certainly hope that these next sets are just as good as the first 2!!!
