Oldies Sue Drug CompaniesI was thinking about this a few weeks ago when I got my Prevacid precription...I was supposed to get Nexium but my insurance company said I would have to pay out of pocket since it isn't covered by my plan...$350 a month!!! They would cover the Prevacid but only partially, I think I have to pay $30, regular drug copay is $15
I was shocked and got to thinking about my grandma who is on tons of pills and my wife's grandpa who is in end stage Parkinson's and on every drug under the sun, many of which they have to pay out of pocket.
Drug companies are sick, there are large bus trips that head up to Canada once a month to fill the same drugs at Canuckian pharmacies for much less than what the American pharmacies are charging.
Our Governor is trying to sue the US into letting State Workers import Canadian drugs, he's been told the USDA feels Canadian drugs are unsafe
