Basically you get points for however many yards and TD's (run, caught or thrown) your player makes in a given game.  Head to head whoever scores the most points win.  Kickers get points for FG's and XP's.  Defense gets team points (any individual player on the team's D) for every sack, interception, fumble recovery, etc

The bench is there for injuries and for benching guys during their bye week and if you want ride a hot player on your roster.  You can pick up free agents and dump stiffs on your team through out the year

In most "real" leagues you pay an entry fee for your team and pay per transaction, the winner of the league at the end of the year gets the cash and a trophy usually...I've been in my league with my buddies and brother since around 1994 but have been playing since the late 80's as well.  Most of my best friends are in my "real" league and its a ton of fun and a good way to waste time for 4 months

QUESTION:  Why were the Pass TD points reduced from 6 to 3?

It seems to me that a Pass TD should get just as many points as a Rushing TD, since they both score the same number of points in the game.
