I know the feeling, as Antonio Gates was picked just 3 spots before I had planned on taking him a few rounds ago.

I know the feeling too, its funny how you plan out who you want, and kind of play the game of how long do you let them sit out there, to see if you can get them later   You don't always know if they'll be there, but it might be a little too soon to pick them too.  I know I've missed out on a couple of Broncos I wanted (Tatum Bell, Darius Watts) because I waited too long

Yep.  This is my first time playing fantasy football, but it really gives you an appreciation for how much gambling and guess work is involved in drafting for real - regardless of how much research and preparation you do it's not necessarily going to go anything like you planned it.  It's tons of fun though!

So are we going to pick for Kevin again or do we just wait?

I agree, doing the draft this way has been fun, if not frustrating at times (you damn people taking the players I want  )

I just hope we have the time to finish. Almost 6 full rounds to go and the season starts next Thursday and I'm a little concerned about how slow it will be over the holiday weekend.

I'll be around all weekend - anyone who's not going to be should send a large list of players they want to Scott or someone else they trust.

Also, at the very start Scott mentioned possibly having to shave 3 rounds off of the draft and haveing a free-agent free-for-all.  If it comes to that we can always do that.

I'm 1 or 2 players away from having my back-ups all set - anyone after that is bench fodder who I'll probably never play even once anyway....

It wouldn't even bother me to cut the draft short by a round or three and just let that be it...but that's just me.

If we don't finish by Wednesday I can just add some of the best players available to rosters and then have you all drop and add as you please.  Hopefully this will only be 2-3 players and almost all of them will be backups anyway
