That DT looks like **** mounted to the case with tape.

WOW!  :o First time I'd seen a picture and you are not wrong - what a crock of ****.

I have read recently that if you contact AFA beforehand they will mount it in the figures hand.

That really does look terrible. You woul dfigure in the long run the tape would damage the thin plastic lightsaber.

They would have been better mounting a small acrylic sub-case next to the figure with two slots for the sabre parts. A lot better looking and surely the DT figures would warrant the slightly higher expenditure.

Not only the potential for damage but the tape will also probably dry out and..............well you know the rest  :(

Overall I give the set up a U10   :-*

I think he had one too many Ugnaught brewskies and fell into the fire while camping.

I get wary of auctions like that....too many good repros out there.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

I wasn't saying anything bad about the seller....but if you're looking at stuff like that you really want to research the seller to make sure they aren't selling repros.
This is the way.

Thats why i didnt bid although the guy is in brazil with other glasslite stuff up. Still i wasnt sure and i want the gun anyway.  ::) I'll use that excuse to make me feel better.

I wish i would have saw the carded wind up R2, i would have considered going for it even though it was beat up. I have one in the kenner bag but woul dlike the carded version.

I had that Vlix on my watch list, seller had other Glasslite items too.

Other stuff that was in the watch list.

STAR WARS MADE IN MEXICO LILI LEDY SQUID HEAD BAGGIE

$500 for a bagged Squid Head!!!!!!
I think it is time to sell up my baggie collection.
That is ridiculous.  This is not a rare figure, not by a longshot.   Standard U.S. released ROTJ-e baggie.

I know collectors love to throw around the term "Lili Ledy" just because something is made in Mexico, but people have to understand that these were mass produced and sold in the U.S. by Kenner.
Hence common common common.

The quality is no where near the one I have, but there's a custom vintage style Gargan on eBay for anyone who's desperate.

Link

Looking at it some more - it's actually pretty horrible (no offense if that's one of you guys...  :) )
