We do this thing at our games where once side of the stadium says 'Game' and the other side says: 'Cocks!' Suffice to say, it's more than enough to make someone who isn't familiar with USC to laugh.

LOL! That reminds me of a game at UD my Junior year. We were winning a game  by a ton of points and we happened to be playing Morehead St. the following week for the lead in the conference. Needless to say, chants of "We want Morehead!" echoed from the student section.  ;D

Hey Zod, I was at the Carolina-Florida game last year, pretty good game eh? Ya'll are going down this year!

Very good game.

I wish I could go this year but I moved to Dallas after graduating last year.  Odds of me getting to a Gators game (let alone that one) are slim to none.  I haven't seen their schedule yet but if they come near here I might try to make it.

Creepy...my Senior year of high school after having been dumped two straight years by Moorhead High in the Section Finals in Basketball the High School team was trouncing Saint Cloud Tech and chants of "We Want Moorhead, We Want Moorhead" also erupted from the Student Section.

Too funny ;D

Should be an interesting year here in Husker land, as we move from the power running game over to a West Coast Offense.  Hard to judge how good it will be, hopefully the fans here will give it some time...we might struggle a little bit at first.  Schedule isn't terrible though, and a 9-3 season isn't out of the question.  Maybe better.  We'll see how it all comes together, but there's quite a bit of excitement here in Lincoln with all the changes.  I've been wanting to pick up NCAA 2005 as well, I hear it is pretty good.  I haven't bought that game for a couple of years now, but used to be able to play it for hours on end back in the PS1 days.  Good luck to everyone's teams in the upcoming seasons...not too far off now.  Go Big Red :)

If that happens, Zook will be on his way out.  Like I mentioned earlier, this is tupposed to be the year that his recruiting classes have matured enough to become a solid team and get back into the national title hunt.  If they fall flat again - look for Return of Spurrier rumors to heat up...

It's more or less the same for Holtz this year, last years defeat to Clemson was PATHETIC! We lost like 77-15 to our biggest rivals, and I got to hear about it for weeks on end.
Though, Holtz may or may not stay around one more season if the team dosen't do to well. I suppose it all has to do with his popularity, and his health. He isn't a young man by any stretch of the imagination.

Ah yes, by looking at the schedule,  I can firmly believe that my Texas Tech Red Raiders will have high hopes, win 7 and be in a Pre-New Years Eve Bowl in either Shreveport or Houston.  And I can live with that. Heck we can probably be 4-0 going into the OU game.  Probably have a QB that throws for more yards than most teams travel and gets ZERO Heisman consideration.

I see we're hanging just outside the top 25 (Nebraska), but that's not surprising.  Major upheaval and offensive revamp this offseason, so its hard to predict how good the team will be.  Should be an interesting year though.  No surprise with USC at the top of the heap to start things off.

It is also the first time that the Big XII has had so few teams in the Top 25.  Usually 5 or 6 are in the pre-season poll and this year it is just 4.

And what 5 coaches/writers thought Texas A&M should be in the top 25?  Dennis Franchione and who????????Maybe he a Paterno made a pact since Penn State's 3-9 team got votes too.

I know that the Gopher Football program has come miles and miles when I see them ranked 24th and say they are getting screwed.  Or when their Running game doesn't even crack ESPN's honorable mention list for best in the Country

I think the Grandaddy of them all is certainly in the picture
