$8.19!?!?!?  :o  :o

WTF???

Oh crap! That has to be a regional thing because the resets here are showing 6.99 for the previews and 6.49 for the animated.

Anyone know if the ROTS Quick Draw trooper's helmet is the same as the SA's in that it has the same head peg? If so, I'd like to convert a few SA over when the trooper comes out.

I think you're right Jeff a Man-E-Faces type reveal thing is what I picture with a button or a wheel on the back

http://www.galactichunter.com/absoluteig/gallery.asp?categoryid=3508

Definately a little button/lever for the face changing action.

Also has a LED in his arms for force lightning effects I guess... TWO action features on one figure!  :-X

I will let the kiddies get this figure.  Afterall, that's who likes these action features I hear.

Looks like I'll be buying most of the figs at Wal-Mart. Around here, Wally World is selling the POTC/Cantina waves for $5.88, and Target/TRU are selling them for $6.99.

Sidious/Palpatine looks okay, I may pick it up during a clearance or something. Definately not a fig for SA fans.

I kind of like him.  He's too bulky and not enough articulation, but as a kid I would have loved this thing.

"Surprise!"   :)

www.sirstevesguide.com has a picture of the Anakin with Vader armor.  I can't see because I am at work and they banned that site.  Learned it from another website.  Thought you folks would want to know!

Hard to tell from the crappy cellphone pics, but that Anakin/Vader looks very cheapo deluxe style, built much more for the play value than sculpt accuracy.

The 12" version look like it's a winner, though. Looks like it has a scarred face option and a nice Vader suit -- I really like the two piece helmet.

Clean Up in Aisle 1 I guess...

$8+ a figure though on that preview wave at KM?  Holy ****...

I too will be going to WM for the simple fact they're selling cheaper.  If Target's reading this on any level, may you be alerted that I'm NOT going to spend $1 each per figure more than WM when I can get to WM's easier and pay less.

I'd sooner give my $ to TRU or Target any day...  Without a doubt.  I despise WM on every level, but I can safely say that without a price reduction (major) from these other retailers then I'm going where it's cheapest to get when I'm not waiting for clearance on.

I agree with you Jesse.  I'd sooner give my money to Target than Wal-Mart any day, and actually the Mrs. and I really enjoy shopping at Target for a variety of things, but if it does end up being a $1+ more per figure, I think Wal-Mart will be getting my ROTS business if they have the goods.  Figures are $5.88 here as well, with a $6.99 tag at Target (although they don't have any).  Plus, in our case, Wal-Mart is considerably closer to us as well.  Maybe Target will decide to drop their prices, $7 just seems a bit high, especially with Marvel Legends, Lord of the Rings, etc. being cheaper.

Now, for the ROTS stuff, thanks for the heads up on the pics over at SSG.  Pretty cool.  The Anakin-to-Vader figure might be kind of neat, and something I'll probably pick up for the "fun" of it regardless.  The "quick change" Palpy obviously is for the kiddos, and I don't mind as we know we're getting other versions of this character that are more collector-oriented anyways (but maybe not in this particular outfit?).  Anyways, I think that I might consider picking up this version too for fun, depending on the budget at the time and seeing it in person.  I would have liked it as a kid too, as Spuffy said earlier.  I don't collect the 12" figures, but the two shown at SSG don't seem to look too bad.  The Anakin is kind of neat too.

Thanks to information taken from a French website (reported by Rebelscum, and by Scott in the "Release List" sticky thread), if the reports are true, we might have the majority of our releases for the year figured out.  However, from what this list is indicating, I don't know if I see a single non-ROTS toy this year, so there may yet be some surprises.  "Jacen Solo" on the rebelscum forums has translated and created a master list of everything, so credit goes to him for this:

Looks like lots of stuff to collect, and much of it sounds pretty cool to me.  I wonder if this list is accurate, and if so, will we be seeing any OT or other movie figures sneaking in (perhaps later in the year?).  Either way, food for thought.

The list sounds about right as far as the amount of stuff coming out this year.  It's definitely a movie year.

Galactic Hunter now has a full checklist scan up, listing 56 basic figures.  You can check it out HERE.  Looks like it is official, from Hasbro, as well.  Really need to save up (more) for this :).
