Got my Mantis today...

Sweet. Nice to finally have these figures to fill out my Cantina scene(s)!

Found a nice one with really good packaging and paint job. Wuhers lips almost look normal.

So these seem to have dried up... This anyone else's experience? I haven't seen extras to nab for anyone or I would. I'm gonna check some KM's closer to the city after school a day this week. See what I can maybe find there...

My KM's out here are all dried up on the Cantina set though. They came and went FAST. I'm glad I didn't hesitate to hit them early and often now.

Are they disappearing out in Cali too?

Haven't seen them out here since that initial week that they hit, but I do still have a few extras if anyone still needs 'em... I know MetalJedi found a set out here this weekend though, so it sounds like they're still trickling out just a bit.

Still bummed that we're only getting 2 new and exciting aliens out of the 6 total figures in these two sets. Plus 3 more in the ensuing Cantina wave, fortunately, though several of my favorites will sadly still be MIA (Hem Dazon, Bom Vimdin, Elis Herlot/Givins, Braniac & Tonnika Sisters/yeah right). Don't really feel like waiting all the way 'til 2006 for them either... $:-\$

After Hasbro polishes off the first 4 of those, then they can knock off CZ-3 and Wioslea and I'll die a happy man!

I just found them while we were downstate. They must of had at least eight or so in one store alone. So far, in the Upper Peninsula, they have yet to surface.

All I want now are the Tonnika sisters, and since hell froze over last year, my question is-WHERE ARE THEY?

They restocked here sometime this week... There's a TON of the set now, so if someone winds up needing one get ahold of me. I'm able to pick one up for someone SURE they want one.

Seems like demand's pretty satiated at this point though? $:-\$

I took a trip to El Paso last week and finally scored my ~~mantissa~~ mantis. All the K-Marts closed here in San Antonio. Kitik is great and so is the Doc. Big improvement (IMO). Wuher, on the other hand, sucks.

So, is Zutton worth the $20? Man I find it soooo hard to stomach paying that much for an EU character. I like the height difference and the Silver boots though

I was kind of excited hen news of this pack broke, but now, with the re-hashed rehash that is Ponda and Flashback Obi-Wan.... well, I'm not so sure. Also, buying this set will bring my "cantina bar section" total to NINE. It's now too long for anything really, even breaking some chunks off for the Outlander Nightclub.

Guess I'll have to see it in person before I decide whether Zutton is worth the $20.99 that K-Mart is charging for these here. $:-\$

I'd say, honestly, it's not worth the twenty bucks unless you're a completist guy like me. It's a tough price to swallow just to get a kitbashed figure. He's a neat idea but there needed to be another unique figure in the pack to keep it from feeling like a ripoff. $:-\$

I just got my Kitik set this past weekend so I came to visit this thread again. Wow! I can not believe people paid over $100 for these sets. Don't get me wrong. I love my Kitik figure and I like Wuher and the bar set. I am very grateful to have it. I will even consider buying the other one for a blue Snaggletooth. But man oh man these sets are not worth anything over $25. LOL!

I wonder what the rationale is with those people?

Being a Kmart exclusive, I was intially worried about these since they showed up once and vanished. Thanks to Matty he scored me a set. The two stores near me now have at least 8-12 of these things that have been gathering dust for about 2-3 weeks now. This makes me wonder if set 2 may not get ordered near me due to these others still sitting. The set sucks but I'm a sucker for that blue Snag.
