Yup, Thanks Scott...  I couldn't find them when I wanted.  Hopefully I'll find them there at some point.  I'm at the stage where I'd just as soon order from Amazon than look for these at stores and risk them NOT being as abundant as ANH wave was/is.

I can't believe Fett is still in stock!  Its easily one of the best SW figures ever.

Still no freakin Chewie!!! I'm dying over here! I've taken all the energy in finding R2 and Chewbacca and put it directly into finding Chewbacca. I've decided that I don't care about that R2 figure very much. If I see it in stores I'll probably get it, but if not...no bigee.

I checked those links at about 8:30 EST, and Chewbacca was out of stock, so I'm not sure if he was stocked last night.

Is he always going to be shipping 1 per case or is that just the first ratio? I'd love to get some extras for customizing Wookiee warriors.

Yes indeed I did.  They were up at about 5 minutes before I put that post in last night.  Confirmation email is in as well, so I'm getting it and the 3 stormies too (and R2). 

Blind luck maybe?  Who knows, I just know I'm happy.

Thanks for the direct links, I can never find things through a search either. They had Stormtroopers last night at about 12am PST, that's for sure. I amazingly backed out of ordering a few more. The pricepoint is killing me. I want to army build! No way no how at 11 bucks a pop though.

Once I put the VOTC Stormie next to the Commtech one, there is no comparison. It's not like the Clones where the SA version just looks more detailed than the others. With these guys, the VOTC sculpt is out and out superior to the Commtech one, and I don't think I'll be satisfied using the older versions as the bulk of an army with VOTC ones as hero figures out front. It has to be VOTC all the way through.

I dont think this wave will be too tough to find. I have found it now 3 days in a row at 4 different locations.  Seeing a total of 8-9 Stormtroopers.  The stores that are never going to see anything new are the Walmarts that received that big display which is packed with nothing but the ANH wave.  3PO to me is the tough one.  I have seen every figure in numbers minus this fig.

It may not help, but up north we've paid worse than that for basic figures.  At the time of POTJ, TRU was the most dependable for bringing in the less common stuff.  They were running at $11.99-13.99 plus 14% tax, so a shade under $15 CAD.  While it is CAD, it's not much different than buying a VOTC Stormtrooper right now.

Regular figs right now on awful backgrounds cost us a hair over $10 CAD as well, VOTC up here runs about $17 after taxes.  $10.99?  Psh, peanuts.
