Incredible figures...  Hasbro should live up to this standard at all times in my book.

At that price point?

Nah...  But screw the packaging.  I could care about it.  These are $5 figures otherwise.  They're not flashy, they have limited accessories...  They're just action figures.  What the line should be giving us anyway.

THe cards and protecto things are neat, and I'm even saving my by carefully cutting this stuff open, but in the end it's still just packaging to me and it was all I could do to keep from ripping that Stormie off the card when I got home!  I even had him on the passenger seat looking at him at red lights.  :)

I actually think I want these more than a room for Celebration III...

I need that Stormtrooper. I need it. No, no, you're not understanding me here, I need it!

I also need that Chewie....

And the Yoda

And the R2

And the 3-PO

And the Lando....

Now that I have Boba and Darth out of the way, my main focus will be in this order:

1. Stormtrooper
2. Chewbacca
3. Lando
4. Yoda
5. R2-D2
6. C-3PO

I just need some more money....

Can't believe it, but I found the entire ROTJ VOTC wave at retail.  And I found MULTIPLE Stormtroopers.  Unbelievable!  This wave is among the best wave of figures I've EVER seen Hasbro issue.  Good job!

Good Score Nick...  I'm talking to people only finding the last 2 or 3 of the wave hanging around here...

Though at our local get-together Saturday the one guy who was new to the group wound up showing with a good chunk of them as I recall, but no R2 I don't believe.

The Chewie's were all gone from my batch, and no multiple stormies...  Unfortunately.

I want this wave sooooo bad.

I, too, like Scott hit at LEAST 1 Target everyday trying to find them.

They will be mine... OH YES.  They will be mine...

Got the wave fresh from a box at TRU tonight, from possibly the nicest TRU employee ever (she was the manager) who made the effort to check inventory and have a case brought out from the back. Then I stole the little shelf hanger thing. I suck.  :-\ So, I have my two Bobas and Stormtroopers, and 1 Artoo and Chewie. I gotta agree with Nicklab that these are the most shockingly good figures in one wave Hasbro's ever done.

What an f'ef up year that Hasbro product development guys are making some of the best stuff ever, while their marketing and distribution guys are making finding the toys one of the worst, miserable experiences I've ever contended with in the modern era.

Whoa, I lucked into these yesterday.  These were a site to see on the pegs, and man the cards look great.  I'm usually an opener, but I can't bring myself to rip these up yet.  I'll get to it soon.  Got an extra Stormie and Chewy for local collector.  8)  We got it going ON in the local ASWCC - we pass the new figures around like that! *snaps*

Glad to see that people are starting to find this wave around the country.  Looks like I was a little late to the BBTS figures though, I was really hoping I could pick up a Chewbacca.  I would have paid the extra $5 for him.  I have found myself being more impatient with this wave than with anything else so far.  Maybe it is the fact that the figures are all so great, or that it is the last wave of a particular line, and I'm worried they will be even tougher to find.  It is kind of surprising, but it seems like a number of reports of people finding this wave at retail (the remnants of it anyways) seem to be finding Boba Fett.  With his cult popularity, you'd figure he would be impossible to find.  Same with the Stormie.  Maybe its just coincidence, but it is kind of surprising.  Checked our local TRU and Wal-Mart yesterday and this morning, respectively, but nothing but New Hope figures as far as the eye could see :).  OTC still seems to be selling out though, on a side note.  Going to try hitting Target after work today, come on Chewie, be waiting there :P.

I'm usually an opener, but I can't bring myself to rip these up yet.

I hear you there.  I've only opened one (Luke, that doesn't actually impress me that much) so far, but I was extremely careful with it, using a very sharp knife to carve the top and bottom of the bubble, plus one side so it could fold back down with minimal damage.  They've done a fine job on these cards, I felt just as guilty opening the Luke as I have when I've opened up vintage figures.
