I think, for the UK, those prices are very good. You comfortably beat me on the Mechanic Chewie – I won mine along with Chess-thingy Chewie in one lot for 15 shipped (so really I paid 7.50).

The red-card is good too, because I’m sure places like FP would charge a lot more.

Princess Leia w/sail barge is great for that price (I paid 10 for mine), and after the Bacta Tank Luke, is the best POTJ deluxe fig, IMHO.

I don’t collect the 12” stuff so I’m not sure, but again, in the UK, I expect is still way cheaper than a specialist / scalper store, which is the only place you’re likely to find something like that these days.

Now, if you want my carded Rorworr, I’ll list it on eBay for you at the bargain price of 30 quid (mate’s rates  ;D  ) – you can even pay with PayPal  ;)

The problem is, PayPal will convert all that lovely Scottish currency into English, and it’s really the quality meat goods that I’d be interested in. So sorry N, no deal :)

Now, sending live goods through the Royal Mail is not allowed. I’m not sure which ******* you meant, but I don’t think Dale Winton and Graham Norton would fit inside a jiffy bag  ;D . Besides, not being that way inclined, what on earth would I do with them?

Well crap.  Looks like you guys have stumbled upon a word that was missed by our language filters here.  Even though I'm pretty sure that ponda's original use of the word meant something entirely different than what it means any many other areas, we'd obviously rather the discussion not continue on about it since many folks could take serious offense to it, if you wouldn't mind please...   ;)

We'll probably be adding it into the language filter shortly, so don't be surprised if that word in these posts turns into this soon: ******

I'm guessing this is what barfly was using the word (by it's UK definition) to mean:
"Meat balls made from offal (chopped liver) in gravy."

Sorry for the interruption.  Continue on with the eBay gab...   8)

Brian, I found this great page that explains 100 different Anglo/American confusions. No. 3 explains “*******”

http://www.cheshire.demon.co.uk/steve/us-uk.html

I might put a link to this article in my signature, so that if Barfly or me say anything you guys don’t understand, you can look it up :)

My feedback has been stuck in the 90s for ages and ages. I keep selling stuff…but it’s like buyers think, “oh well, this guy has loads of feedback, so he won’t be needing mine”  ::) . When will I get my new turquoise star???  >:(

If I were to add up all the transactions I've completed and NOT received feedback for, I think I'd be over 100 as well...but I'm at 80 right now.

I don't use Ebay as much as I used to back before I joined Rebelscum. Mostly I use it for sales of junk in my garage these days. But....Just last week I bought a CD for a penny (plus 3.50 shipping) on Ebay. It was the Pokemon 2000 Soundtrack, which I wanted solely for the Weird Al track "Polkamon".

Gotta love Ebay.

eBay is extremely addicting, and I try to avoid it as much as possible.  But there are times when I'm in the shopping mood, and I know that I will find something I like with no problem whatsoever.  eBay has it all.

Well, I finally got a responce from both buyers.  The guy from England is requesting a price quote AGAIN, and now I have to translate an email from French.  The last 2 English translated ones made little since.  I'm  sticking to Canada and Australia for all foreign orders, from now on.

I sell to only US Bidders for this very reason. I have traded with overseas bidders at Rebelscum where I know people will be decent, but on Ebay....I stick to my countrymen.
