According to Amazon, my C-3POs are set to ship tonight via USPS (lol).

I am pretty sure it is going out in the mail tomorrow... we shall see what I actually end up with!

[fingers crossed]

Jeff

Mine are delayed, apparently for a week.  Not cancelled, just delayed.  For the moment.  We shall see.  Maybe not as many out there as planned.

Very interesting...

Seems like NewForce got in the wave 2.5 vOTC case and are shipping them now (I got my ship confirmation today... I totally forgot that I had ordered this case from them).

Got my 2x 3PO from Amazon today, along with my wave 2.5 case from NewForce (which I forgot I ordered because I didn't expect it to ship).

So, because I only needed 1 C-3PO,  it appears I've got a few extra C-3PO to sell.
edit: my extra C-3POs have been SOLD!

 :)

I finally got around to opening my package from Amazon tonight and does anyone else see a problem with 3PO's "eyes" ??

I'm a carded collector and rarely do I pay attention to the fine paint apps on each figure, but my 3PO's look pretty lame (besides the sculpt.)  One has his eyes looking down and the other he's looking to the left.  Did I miss something in the movies??

Anyone else need any VOTC 3PO's?  A local buddy came across several the other day, and I think he's still got some extras for those still in need.  So LMK (soon) if you do!

Hah!  Indeed.  But only over at RS...   :P

I think we let folks help out other collectors here though (for retail), as far as I know...   8)

BTW, for anyone interested, these would be $10.81 each.

Ya know after talking to Jesse last night about the VOTC C-3PO and then seeing the closeup shots in Pawlus' review, I'm leaning towards not getting this figure. It's going to leave a gap in my VOTC collection, but damn it's going to be harder to justify paying $10 for this compared to any of the other crapp VOTC figs (Luke, Obiwan, R2). Hell it be hard to justify $5 for it, no wonder this thing is shortpacked, Hasbro knew they made a stinker, so they didnt bother producing as much of it.

Delayed by Amazon again on 3PO.  I would dare suggest I won't see him.  I also think that early assertions that he will be the rarest of the bunch are accurate.  A temporary glut as Hasbro released the solitary case containing him is what we saw, methinks.

If I hadn't gotten it for cost from Blue Harvester, I would NOT have bought one.  I like having it for completeness sake, but this and R2 are the worst of the lot IMO.  Even old Ben had more interest out of me than those two.

3PO though is a bad figure.  Just bad.

I'm not sure I get what you are saying there at the end morgbug, did Hasbro release a temp case that had nothing but C3PO in it, much like they did with Maul during TPM, or are you referencing the lone case where 3PO can be found in?

Sorry, one of my English as second language days ::)  My bad.

I am referencing the lone case where 3PO can be found. :)
