Star Wars on ESPN

While watching SportsCenter this morning I saw a pretty funny ESPN commercial with Chewie, Vader, 3PO and R2 who was a SportsCenter anchor.

Their commercials are usually pretty great but this one touched the geek in me :)

I actually saw that this morning too, and really enjoyed it.  You can actually check it out at StarWars.com, they have a download available for it.  Last I saw, it was available via the front page.  Neat stuff, always enjoyed the Sportscenter commercials, and add Star Wars to it, and its just that much better :).

ESPN and Star Wars!

Saw that this AM, but haven't seen the commercials yet, sounds like there is more than one!

Have to keep an eye out for it...  :)

Very funny.  :)  I liked Chewie taking a nutty in the break room.

SC commercials are definitely creative.  Can't say I watch the show routinely since I get most of my sports from the paper, but the commercials are always a riot.

Finally caught this on the tube last night.  Too cool!  Didn't have time to tape it though.  I don't suppose there's any exact science to knowing exactly when they're gonna air this spot, right?

Vader should stuck Lennox with his saber though.  Not enough "action" in this commercial, other than Chewie's tirade.  I wanna see the athletes in battle against our Saga icons.  You know, kinda like the Pacers players against the Detroit fans the other night...   8)

Not sure if anyone's already discussed this here yet, but there's also a great Star Wars commercial coming from Target real soon too.  Vader and Heidi Klum star in it.  Funny stuff!
