Great thread!  Unofficially, it would be this:

Yes, it's still sealed from 1978, but the first albums I purchased with my own cash were such examples as:

or this:

yes, that's an actual photo taken at the concert as part of the artwork or:

There were others as well but you get the idea. 8>)

"Somebody's been sleeping in my bed..."  ahhh...classic rock and roll, good stuff!!

Boogie Motel and Fool for City were two of my favorites along with KISS -Alive and AC/DC-Back in Black (the best of the best IMO)

Hey Jess, no big deal, it was the 80's!! I mean who here who was old enough to get it then, did not have Culture Club?? They were popular!!

Well, I for one have never owned a Culture Club album/cd/cassette or anything else that had music on it from them. I was never much for pop music of any kind, then or now.

Well, I would have been about 10 years old when they came out, so the only thing I was really exposed to was Pop music on the radio.  I'd like to think that since then my tastes have changed!   :D

My first album was Quiet Riots, Come Feel the Noise.  At least, I think that was the title, it's been so long ago.

Oh boy, first album. I reallly can't remember which one it was. It was a Beatles album, may have been the Magical Mystery Tour or Yellow Submarine.

It was entitled "Metal Health".

I also remember it went very well with Atari Space Invaders after school!
