Now how are they going to do Ghost Busters 3 - Egon's Revenge?

Haven't they been talking about GB3 for a while now?  I guess he could be a ghost in the new movie..if that ever happens.

How could he play a ghost in the movie if he's dead?  You still need an actor to film it.  Plus, Bill Murray never wanted to do it, and he's definitely not going to do it now.

Face it, GBIII isn't happening unless they recast completely.

They could do CG or a puppet.  Kinda like what they did for the Scoleri Brothers in GB2.  Just make a puppet that resembles him.

Not that the movie will ever happen.  And that might be seen as somewhat disrespectful.  But imagine them opening to a scene at Egon's funeral, and Egon's ghost pops out of the coffin...

Not in a million years could I see Bill Murray agreeing to be in a movie with a CG Harold Ramis.  Ghostbusters is getting a full reboot, or it's over.  Those are the choices.

Murray and Ramis barely even talked to each other for twenty years after a falling out they had during Groundhog Day. Maybe that's the real reason Murray wouldn't do Ghostbusters 3, because he refused to work with live-action Ramis. Maybe he was just waiting Ramis out, and now that Ramis is gone, they can start work on GB3 with a CGI Egon, or recast the role, or just write the character out entirely. They have several scenarios to work with, and on the bright side, none of them can possibly be as bad as Ghostbusters 2.

You really should probably not do anything else in life, Tweeting or otherwise, until you watch Groundhog Day.

Seriously, what the ****, mang?

Just read something about how Ramis was barely going to be in GBIII anyway and how it's still a go.  Not sure if it's true, but it makes sense if it's more of a 21 Jump Street style reboot than a sequel.
