I don't think executions count.

Or do they?

do you ever listen to "the ticket" in the afternoon?   they do trifecta talk pretty regularly.  i am sure this will all come up sometime next week when all the regular hosts get  back from vacation.  it would appear though that james brown, president ford and saddam hussein will be sharing an apartment in the great beyond.

I'd have to say dead is dead, no matter what the cause, be it Old Age, Accident, OD or in the rare instance execution.  It doesn't make him less famous or less dead.  Aren't those the 2 requirements to be in the Trifecta? They are the only ones I have used for years.

But that is a good question to debate...I think they did a CSI:Miami episode on it...

And I am sure the Hardline will debating this one as well.

Love the ticket - and when I mentioned the Trifecta, I had them in mind.

I'm guessing this one will stand.

What a group too, a former president, the Godfather of Soul, and a Brutal Dictator.

Yes, he has, as has Fred Gwynne.  Only Eddie and Marilyn Munster remain.

RIP Barbaro

Ironic that a horse who was best known for breaking his leg is now going to be helping put stuff back together again:

(Shamelessly stolen from someone far more creative than I at DVDTalk)

Say hello to Dave Coulier and Ivar Hansen for me

Back in my day, a horse breaks its leg, they shoot it.  They just used good ole Barbaroo for his good ole horse baby juice...

Long-time viewers of Letterman will be sad to learn of the recent passing of Calvert DeForest (Larry "Bud" Melman), the goofy yet loveable "straight man" on the show in the late 90s-early 2000s.

So long, "Larry"  :'(

I literally had to come back just for this horrible, awful news.

That poor, sweet man has left the world. This is far more tragic a game show death than Rod Roddy.

I hope Mr. Reilly is in all of your thoughts, as he should be.

Hey Ooryl. How's the Tiki Hut?

It wouldn't be like me to stay for long, now would it? Let's focus more on the loss of CNR.
