You know, I thought of this thread yesterday when I saw the Chris Penn thread over there.

Everyone's talking Resevoir Dogs, but I think my favorite Chris Penn moments were from Rush Hour.  "I don't know what that thing is"  "I don't want it".   ;D

I think I'm just about ready to make this thread current again.  Sometime over the next few days I'll update the hell out of it.

Thanks for the bump.

Looks like I have a little over a year's worth of digging to do...  :-\

Did Darth Dumb Ass actually report all of those deaths in threads he started at RS, though?  'Cause I think that's the official criteria for inclusion on the list, is it not?

Yeah, nevermind--I see what's going on.  The first part of the list is for Bob's Big Boy's death announcements, and the notes section is for death announcements from other folks.  (He didn't report a celebrity passing from March of '05 'til January of '06?!)

And I seem to recall that Webster reported the death of Hunter S. Thompson early last year, too--and none too politely, I might add.

There is a gap around Janurary of last year because I searched threads newer than 1 year instead of two years.  I didn't want to weed through the crap that was already done.

I'll see if I can find the Hunter S Thompson thread.

Found and added Hunter S. Thompson.

Who else...

I really wish DBB would be a little quicker on the draw from now on.  Maybe the Chris Penn thing is a good sign of things to come.

I'll see how many of the ones mentioned by Tamidala and Jared I can find shortly.

I hope you're right.

When I first saw the Chris Penn reports the other night, I was a bit leery of them, until I saw his thread at RS.  Then I knew it was true.

I also noticed that CNN and E! Online didn't go wide with the story until after his post.  Coincidence?  I think not.
