Do you mean Karen Carpenter?

Yeah, probably.  As for the eating disorder, I guess she was struggling with body issus and eating disorders for some time, but drugs can't be ruled out until the do the toxicology tests.

Either way its a tragedy for her family and fans.

Isn't that pretty much what killed Carol Carpenter?  Yeah, even in the red-carpet type of video, they were running in the background on the morning shows, where she should look at her best, she just looked sickly skinny.

I'd guess drugs over any eating disorder.  It's not out-of-the-ordinary for actresses to look overly-thin on the red carpet... they need to maintain that weight to look good on film.

A good friend of mine passed away at age 32 because of an undiagnosed defect in his heart...no drugs involved.

I won't jump to conclusions about this, since there wasn't any real evidence she had a drug problem that I know of.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Yeah I've known of a few younger people passing away suddenly from an undiagnosed bad ticker or a sudden stroke (aneurysm or clot).  With both of those things, often times the first symptom is death.  And that just flat out shocks the hell out of everybody.

However, in Brittany's case, this is the list of drugs found in her drawers according to Fox News/TMZ:

- Topamax

- Methylprednisolone

- Fluoxetine

- Klonopin

- Carbamazepine

- Ativan

- Vicoprofen

- Propranolol

- Biaxin

- Hydrocodone

It looks like Heath Ledger Part II.

Oh, man, that's a bummer.  I watched the Sports Machine on Sunday nights when it was shown locally.  I thought it was cool he could hit a button on his machine and start the highlights.  RIP George.

Damn, and he died without ever winning an Oscar (which I feel he deserved for his role in one of the greatest movies of all time, "Lucas").
