Number three is Gerry Rafferty.  A little before most people here's time I'd think, but some pretty classic music from Stealer's Wheel and some solo projects.  Reservoir Dogs probably made him familiar to most here I'd guess.  He was quite popular in the 70's as I'm sure Dale will attest.

Oh yes, very popular. While I was out & about yesterday, all they played on the radio was his songs.

Not seeing Dino De Laurentiis mentioned who passed way on Nov 10th last yr, a lot of movies to his credit...

Yeah I was just going to mention Winters' passing.  A celebrity?  That's debatable I think because he shyed away from it, but he's a hero for certain.  He maybe doesn't want the label but I'd give it to him any day.
