Chyna was a trainwreck but she was an awesome TV character at the turn of the century.

It is getting tougher and tougher for so many wrestlers to live past their 40's.  That industry has just been a gristmill that's grinding up so many of their performers who won't live to any sort of old age.  It seems almost worse for them that it does for former NFL players.  And I think a lot of that has to do with the self medicating a lot of the wrestlers are doing, along with the lack of any sort of substance abuse testing programs.

That's because it's not a sport - it's acting.  Broadway and Hollywood don't typically have substance abuse testing programs either.

Agreed.  But while the outcomes may be predetermined, the injuries that wrestlers suffer are just as real as what professional athletes endure.  And they see many of the same sports medicine doctors for treatment.

Numerous reporters have tried confronting Vince McMahon about this disturbing trend with performers at the WWE, but it remains an issue.

Prince Dead at 57

UGH.  :'(

Double ugh.  That guy could put on one hell of a concert.

In the early 90's we used to go out to his Paisley Park complex after bar time when he would have jam sessions with his band The New Power Generation that would last all night long.

Holy ****!   :o

Huge loss, crazy talented guy, very happy to have seen him live a few years back...amazing show.

I foresee a lot of purple armbands and possibly a state holiday in Minnesota. Dude was legitimately loved, and with good reason.

RIP my man.

Charlie Murphy's story about him still cracks me up and it seemed to highlight his personality.

I foresee a lot of purple armbands and possibly a state holiday in Minnesota. Dude was legitimately loved, and with good reason.

At least two local radio stations are playing nothing but Prince this AM (one went "all-Prince" at about 11am yesterday).

And then, First Avenue threw an impromptu, all-night Prince Dance Party last night (that will continue all weekend) to celebrate Prince's life - it drew thousands of people, who partied in the streets of downtown Minneapolis all night.

It's crazy - tons of buildings, bridges and roadways were lit up purple last night and will continue to do so through the weekend.

Still can't believe he's gone.  I like this tweet I saw yesterday -
"Let's say the best singer, the best songwriter, the best producer, and the best guitarist all died on the same day. Those 4 ppl were Prince."

Sums it up pretty well.  :'(
