Rance Howard, actor father of Ron Howard
https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/rance-howard-actor-and-father-of-director-ron-howard-dead-at-89/ar-BBFDRNJ

Bummer.  I like the way that Ron Howard was always able to work his father into his films.  It never seemed forced, and it would usually work really well.

I wonder if Rance managed to find his way into SOLO?

He was great in Babylon 5 as Captain Sheridan's father.

YOU ARE 100% CORRECT!

For me, that will always be his most memorable role...great example of there being no small parts, only small actors.  :D

Smithereens Lead Singer Pat DiNizio Dies At Age 62

Sad news indeed.  I would occasionally see Pat at a NJ area record shop.  And he was just a fantastic songwriter.  Gone far too soon!

We can't have any spelling of Dick's last name but we can write his first name. LOL.

Not terribly famous, but Jon Paul Steuer,  the first actor to play Worf's son on Star Trek the Next Generation, passed away.

And Harry Landers who had a role in the final original Star Trek episode "Turnabout Intruder"

I guessing you don't have the "Leave words uncensored" option checked in your forum profile settings.

Works just fine for me - Van ****, VanDyke.

Over at the Disney forum wdwmagic you can't say Dick Van ****. It returns **** Van ****.  You also get an automatic nasty email from the moderators about profanity.  You also can't say wdwinfo because of a feud that board had with wdwinfo site.

Can we say Rebelscum here?
