Since when does Wal-Mart sell Koto kits? They have a whole bunch in stock. Like Darth Maul and more.

And at $99.54...they're priced to sell! ::)

Wal-tard has sold other "high" end stuff, so it's not a shock they are now offering kotos...

That Bly figure looks absolutely amazing.  I love the battle damage - enough to be noticed, but not overdone.

As a side note, I received my first Koto figure in the mail a couple days ago - Darth Maul.  Absolutely gorgeous.  I love the pose and his facial sculpt couldn't be better.  2 thumbs up.   :D

I was just checking HLJ to see if they have a picture, not yet but they have an "order stop" on him.

Quote
Note: This item has not yet been released by the manufacturer but we expect it on or about December 22. We have already taken all the orders we expect to be able to fill. No further orders will be accepted until supplies are confirmed when the product is released

It appears that Koto has been reading the Hasbro marketing strategy book.   ::)  According to Action-Figure.com, upcoming releases from Koto announced at the UK Toy Fair will include a silver/chrome ROTS Darth Vader and Luke Stormtrooper, possibly even the Boba Fett and Darth Maul.

On the more encouraging side, we may see pieces like:

"Luke Skywalker in classic Tatooine gear from A New Hope

Princess Leia Organa in classic white dress from A New Hope

C-3PO and R2-D2 two pack from the Saga

General Greivious from Revenge of the Sith"

Check out the pics here.

I have pics of the new Bestine Luke, he comes with a couple of different display options either holding a lightsaber with gun in holder or holding gun with ligthsaber on belt:

Koto has done some amazingly detailed poses with their figures, but human faces are NOT their specialty, as shown by the Luke Stormtrooper and Luke Bespin.  :(

They nailed the face on the Darth Maul (the only Koto I have), but since he's alien they didn't seem to have any problems doing that.

Won't be buying this one, just because of the face sculpt...however, Grievous will be a must.

That Luke face almost looks like Anakin

Koto has definitely improved their facial sculpting with the upcoming Slave Leia.  8)

If I've deciphered the listing on this Japanese site it will be released in August.
