Defender Wish Lists: Episode IV: Star Wars (A New Hope)

Whittling the choices down to ten was a bear. I'd hate to be Star Wars product manager for Hasbro. (That's a bald-faced lie.)

That Sandcrawler idea just came to me. Must be the creative environment I'm posting in. I think I'll stay.

Slightly OT, I have sketches I did of a Sandcrawler carrying case that would be perfect for an exclusive figure or two. It would be sculpted, of course, but double as a foldout play environment similar to the Episode I Artoo-Detoo carrying case. Dang that was a fun case. I bought two.

Maybe we could have a Top Ten ANH Vehicles/Playsets list some time?

4. Medal ceremony Leia (if they didn't already make one)

6. Redesigned deathstar, bigger with more sections to recreate the movie scenes or seprate scenes that connect (unrealistic but I can dream)  
7. Lars homestead (to go with new lars figures), with rooms and place to connect to upcoming sandcrawler.
8. Jawa multipack with chief and 'restraining' jawa and misc jawas
9. Tantive 4 playset ship with escape pod, Vader entrance and leia capture area
10. Mos Eisley playset with connecting cantina pieces and docking bay 94 for a falcon

OK, after many days of deep and serious contemplation on the matter (as well as a significant amount of time spent at Red 6's), my Top 10 list is finally ready to go!  Forget everyone else's lists, this is THE list that Hasbro should be working off of.  Period.  End of story.  JediMAC has spoken.  So without further ado...

• Hem Dazon (Arcona) - The classic Cantina alien that started it all!
• Tonnika Sister(s) - I won't cheat and demand a 2-pack like EVERYONE else...
• Bom Vimdin - Cool lookin' Cantina alien
• Feltipern Trevagg (Gotal) - Ditto
• Myo - One eyed alien freak
• Elis Helrot (Givins) - The inspiration for the ghost from Scream
• Wioslea - This poor guy probably never gets the ladies, despite his cool new Landspeeder
• CZ-3 - Gotta agree with Morgbug: Sexy eyes for a droid
• WED15-1662 Treadwell Droid - The cool spider lookin' droid with more arms than anyone but FX-7
• R1-G4 - Can this majestic statue of a droid actually move?

That should do it!  Kudos to the close runners up who just missed out on the Big Dance: Brainiac, Red Leader Garven Dreis, and Colonel Wulf Yularen!  Better luck next time fellas...

Just checked the other lists, and Mikey D is right on target with his choices!  As long as Mike can take a Treadwell Droid instead of Dannik Jerikko, he should be a happy man, assuming Hasbro does what it's told, and uses MY list!    

I must say that some folks around here are getting a tad bit overzealous with their choice of "10" figures though.  This ain't 10 Cinema Scenes or dioramas guys!  Gotta narrow a few of those lists down, eh.

Just to respond to CloneF13Y35  list...

They made a Ceremonial Leia in the POTF2 Princess Leia Collection 2-Packs. She came with Ceremonial Luke. With all of your 'Ceremonial' figures, I can't believe your are leaving out the emaculately groomed Ceremonial Chewbacca! Come on everyone! Let's give it up for the clean and well-groomed WOOKIEE!!!

Bummer also that I only got 6 of my 10 choices!  What's up with that?!    How can folks not want that sweet Treadwell Droid and that freak lookin' Wioslea?!  Boring ol' human characters...  Guess I can't get all of my Cantina aliens in one fell swoop, huh?
