What I saw........

Hey guys, yesterday I saw just about all the new ROTS toys. The people who work at the local KB are really nice and they let me see just about everything they'll have on April 2nd. Besides the basic figs, I saw all the 12" stuff, some vehicles, beanies, and unleashed. The KB exclusive Chewie is the same sculpt as the last one, just a lighter color. They also had some nice E3 Chewie standees that looked life-size.

April 2nd should be quite a day!

I'm wondering if they received the later figures, like the Clone Pilot and Mas Amedda. Did you happen to see those in their cases?

I checked, and no, they did not receive the later figures.....Dang.

Oh yeah, they also had a large, hollow plastic Darth Vader display that will hang from the ceiling come April 2nd.

Sounds interesting.  How big would you say it was?  And did you request to have it after they're finished with it?

I'd say it was about 3 feet high and 2.5 feet long.  It's basically the helmet of vader with "Mustafarian" flames beneath it.

I could request it if anyone here really wants it.

It sounds like something I'd love to have, but I'm sure shipping it would be a nightmare.  Oh well.

The display is pretty lightweight, but it might be expensive to ship.

I talked to the KB people again, and I guess it's already promised to another fan. I'll see what I can do though....
