Broem, you might want to set your roster!

Way to help another team beat you.

Doesn't matter much...  After having two pitchers lose on opening day, I had a RP blow a save and pick up a loss just now...

I'm thinking about benching everyone except Pedro...

Yeah, thanks to those that emailed me.  I meant to get it going but never did.  Then this week we had a death in the family and got sidetracked with that.  Then to top it off I don't have access to the league here at work.  Fun, fun, fun!

Sorry to hear all that...

And to complain about my team again - one of my bench players just hit for the cycle.  Which would have been 13 points - thrown away...  For whatever reason, I'm having bad luck at this so far between that and my pitchers having 3 losses already...  It'll turn around I suppose.

Who hit for the cycle yesterday?  Was it Wilkerson?

Yep - and he's 4 of 5 with 3 singles, a double, a run scored, and an RBI today.

I've moved him into my line-up for tomorrow - so I'm sure he'll cool off starting immediately...

Ok, can somebody help me out here.  My guys started slow, fair enough.  But most of my defense has been playing pretty well of late.  I think my biggest holes are my pitching staff, some of whom have been on DL for a chunk.  But take a look and you don't have to spell it out directly for me, but where do I need improvement?  Pitching?

I got another error message. I'm just trying to switch my first basemen around, so that I can have the one play, who's actually got a game coming up. This bugs the **** out of me.

Dressle, help?

Anyone got any ideas?

Actually in general that is just a plain good question, why don't we have a waiver wire?

Remind me again why we don't have a waiver wire?

Famine and I were talking strategy on instant messenger and made some moves.

The waiver wire wasn't going to work because when I input the teams after our offline draft, I didn't reflect our draft order in the waiver order because I had no clue it would affect the way our order would go to claim people off waivers.  That is, until I hit "begin season," and then it was too late.  So in order to prevent someone who had first pick in the draft from also taking desirable free agents dropped at first, it had to get scrapped altogether.  I'll entertain ideas on how to fix it if you can figure something out, but I think it works just fine.

Y'know, after a couple of moves, I'm really starting to like the team I have.  Even sitting a couple of guys that shouldn't really be sitting and that's tough.  I'm not quite sure I have the hang of it yet, but it's looking better.  Pitching could use some improvement, but even then, it seems the staff has come around for me with minimal moves.

Ha ha. He said 'staff'. :P

I like my team, but I think I need to move some guys around to get up in points again.
