Boy do I feel lame for not opening Grievous yet... it's been a month. Number 92, Dale? You bastard!  8)

I'm honestly stuck on the exclusive for Fett. Maybe the bases are different on this one. If it were an ESB Fett, I'd be wanting a light up Carbonite Chamber base as my friend suggested this morning.

I'm here to make you feel better - my Obi and Vader are still in Minneapolis, I've never seen them in person :-\  On top of that I cancelled my Leia order yesterday as well.  I didn't think I really needed it and felt I could get the non-exclusive version on ebay cheaper if I changed my mind.  I'll probably change my mind on the Luke/Yoda as well :-X

Fett will be a tough call for me.  I'm not as crazy about the character as everyone else, but he is clearly iconic and I don't have any dislike for a lame bounty hunter in particular (c'mon, he died by accident?).  We'll see what it's like.

I don't collect these but I must admit they are very nice.

But didn't we just get a GG Fett that's approximately the same size?

I feel like the licensees are double dipping here.

Yes, GG did just release their's as well.  Very similar to what happened with the GG and Sideshow Vader's.  Gentle Giant had their product out first in both instances though (obviously for Fett).

I'm yet trying to decide which of the two versions to get.  The Gentle Giant stuff is very nice and it is cheaper both in terms of MSRP and in terms of what you actually pay for it down the road ;)  But the Sideshow stuff is a bit larger I believe and has more detail (I think).

I have both the Vaders and may unload the GG version.  I do like it but I don't really think I need both.  The Sideshow matches up very well with the Obi-Wan counterpart, so that's more of the decision influence than one being better than the other.

Especially since they even mentioned in their latest newsletter to inspect it for damage. Looks like I have my night planned.

(and yes, that being my Friday night is lame, too).

The thing I like about the Sideshow Premiums vs the GG offerings is that they strike a better balance between being an action figure/doll and an outright statue. I think its the use of cloth that does it. I feel like I'm not only getting a great representation of the character, but an fairly accurate reproduction of the costume as well.

This will be my first PF.  I'm really curious as to what the exclusive could be.   Seeing as he is in his ROTJ colors, it would be almost a no brainer the exclusive being Han in Carbonite, perhaps with real working lights?

There seems to something in the background of the pic, behind Fett.  He's in classic guarding pose, like he's guarding his prize catch.

Anyways, hope I can score the exclusive when it goes up for sale.

I really can't see it myself, surely a piece as big as han in carbonite would be expensive and big enough to be a piece on its own?

I agree Kirk.  Much as I'd love to see it and it would ensure I'd order the piece, Han in Carbonite is almost worthy of it's own statue at that scale.  I suppose they could do it, but I'd expect the price to top $400 pretty easily.

I predict something simple such as a different gun, thermal detonator or perhaps a Jango related item. I'll be very suprised if its Han, if it is it will be my first exclusive purchase.
