This is the most incredible attempt I've ever seen to try and dupe someone into paying more for an error that does not exist!

bad mace auction


Mace did not wield a freaking lightsaber in EP1, so Hasbro just determined they'd go with a standard blue issue saber! The purple was not conceived or realized until AOTC fer Chrissakes!!! Damn lunatic on ebay is misinformed or really trying to pull a fast one on some innocent and gullible collector. Luckily he didn't get squat for it, but of all the just plain bad ebay scams, this is pretty amazing!

I'm really glad that no one fell for that one...  That is a sad attempt to try to fool someone.  Wasn't EPI Mace a peg warmer? ::)

Not around here. A friend had told me that he was rare, so I picked one up the first time I saw it. I never saw the figure again.

Warm as toast up here.  Not in the perpetual Wal-Mart restocks, but he was easy to find.  That auction, aside from the little untruth's wasn't too bad.  At least you got a free extra figure.  For me that would have been the preview clone, which was rare up here.  

What really irked me was the shipping.  $6.50 for 2 figures ??? >:(

not as much as his Saga counterpart from 4/23, i still see those at full retail prices all over the place. what did hasbro expect its one of their worse figs EVER!

Yeah he was a peg warmer around here too.  Good thing most collectors know what actual variations are out there.  Something like that would have made news a long time ago.

Wasn't sure wether to put this in here or the Episode 1 section. I settled on this as he came in a POTF2 box.

I was wondering if anyone can offer me a little help.
The sneak Preview Mace Windu's lightsabre is almost identical to the Episode 1 version.

One of the versions has a small circle indented on the hilt.

Can anyone tell me if the indented circle is from the sneaky or Ep 1, or if there is any other way of distinguishing between the two.

Any help would be appreciated.
