I need my own avatar back, please help!
« Reply #94 on: October 11, 2004, 12:36 AM »
Hello guys,

When i joined here on 7/12/04 and I did put my own avatar in my profile, it's works But when I'm back here tonight and I changed my own new Jedi Knight avatar, it showed "X" mark, over and over.

I try to change my own original avatar back But it showed red letters: "Personalized picture:"

I'm stuck to put my own original Yoda with saber avatar back.

Here's my original avatar ---->

I put that Yoda avatar in my signature with STAR WARS animation, it's works here But not working in my profile.

Please help me to put that avatar in my profile.

Thanks! :)

Well for one, your avatar you are trying to use is the address http://43t45vt45gbv45tvfuk/ looks like it should be http://img3.exs.cx/img3/4636/yoda20avatar.jpg

Number two, this in your your sig should be removed as we do not allow large pics in signatures, guess it drives the local natives nuts.  ;)   Topic: Remove Pics from the Sig Line

I will lock this thread & move it to the "Feedback and Suggestions" area of the forum were most members have questions relating to certain issues like this & we can continue if you have any more problems with your avatar.  ;)

Thanks for warning about signature. :)

I removed my STAR WARS animation and leave my original avatar in my signature and i clicked mark "I have my own pic:" and i typed http://thejawa.com/yabbse/YaBBImages/avatars/yoda%20avatar.jpg But it's not working and i tried a different one: http://img16.exs.cx/img16/4636/yoda20avatar.jpg still not working.

I don't know what i to do with my profile, thanks for trying to helping me with that. :)

It might be because it wasn't 50x50 or perhaps that there was a gap in the url (some boards can't cope with the "%20" solution).

Anyways, this resized version works (I have tried it), and I have also put in an underscore instead of a gap.

My Photobucket account is a bit erratic, so perhaps Dale could copy it across to another host for you?

Thanks Rob, looks like it was the size 50 x 50. The "%20" should not make a difference that I'm aware of, mine & others had that in there & they work perfect. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks again.  :)
