I wonder what the over/under on Beth's interception totals for tonight is going to be.  Sure he only may play 2 series but I'm going to go with 2 :-*

Who cares, the only reason I'll watch the game is for the lovely Lisa Guerraro  :-*

Damn that's right, no more of my #1 Cutie, I'll tune in to see Beth break her leg and to check out the new boombalotti on the sidelines (curse you ABC for not picking Brenda Warner!)

Ya' got that right, Mikey!   8)

Patty's been dancing around the house for the last couple days in anticipation of tonight's game, due in part to the return of Monday Night Football (and football in general), and of course due in part to the fact that her favorite team - the Green Bay Packers - is taking part in this evening's festivities.  She's got her beer and junk food all ready to go!  She'll probably be bouncing off the walls and half drunk by the time I get home...   :P

Sounds like the Slack lost Gilbert Brown for the year, McDonalds in the Green Bay area lay off half of their staff as a result :-*

Well Dan "Big Cat" Wilkinson is coming to town to try out for the team, so they might have to hire them back.

Another topic of discussion:

Anyone else hate Jeremy Shockey as much I as I do?

Sucks that Vick went down, the pre-season needs to be cut to two or three games.  Sure this could have happened any time but it still means stars get hurt in meaningless games for them

It's the curse of Madden.  Ever since the first Madden was released on PS2, the person on the cover either was injured or had a subpar season.

Eddie George 01 - injured
Dante Culpepper 02 - bad year (because of injury?)
Marshall Faulk 03 - injured
Mike Vick 04 - injured

I wouldn't want to be the person on Madden 2005.

I thought the same thing on Sunday when I heard about the injury, Faulk didn't have a horrible year last year for him yes but for a RB no

Yeah, but he did get injured (missed 2 games) and didn't rush for a 1000+ yards either, for the first time in his career, I believe.  They actually did a segment on this on Sportscenter last night.

Michael Vick is a great quarterback...  no doubt about it.  (This coming from a Saints fan and Falcon hater)  I have been saying it since Vick first came in the league...  He's flirting with Disaster.  Why the he** is he trying to be superman in a preseason game?  Just go down and play the next play.  In my opinion he dosen't have that much to prove...  especialy in a preseason game.
