TRU Cinema Scenes Sale

This weekend I picked up one of the Geonosian War-room packs (Nute, Shu, Passel) and one of the good Jedi Council packs (Mace, Even Piell, Oppo) for $7.48 apiece, even though the shelf tag claimed $19.99.

If you still need any of these sets, check your TRU and hope they're on sale there as well!

Yeah, a TRU in the St. Louis area had them marked at $11.98 or something around Christmas - I scanned them and they rang up at $6.98.  Got a few for the extra chairs and cheap custom fodder.

I was in Lafayette, IN and checked the TRU specifically for clearance pricing on these.  Nada, still full price.     I'd be happy to pay $7 for them though.

My TRU had the same price as well $19.99.  They take forever to put anything on clearence.  I thought there was a chance with all the ROTS stuff coming out that they would try it.  Nope.

I had hoped the same, but I guess the logic was that there would be all sorts of new collectors coming in, clamoring for older stuff.  Really.

The SAGA Screen Scenes have been on clearance around here for some time.  But they haven't marked down the OTC ones, and those are the ones that NEED to be clearanced since they were so weak in their execution.

Found the OTC Screen Scenes for $8.98, but only the one with Qui-Gonn, while the rest were still full price.
