The lighting makes it look worse than it is. In the picture, it looks like there is a huge dent above the "RS" in Wars, but in reality, it is just a little bit of a wave in the card.

I think I'll go for the Ewoks next ;) Gotta love fuzzy cannibal bears

Congrats Adam!  Good one to start with!  Looks pretty nice.  Where'd you snag it from?  So what's your strategy going to be - you going after a few of your favorites, or a full set?  Maybe just ROTJ for now?

I just got my first Vintage figure in about 12 years a few weeks ago - a loose, mint Luke Stormtrooper.  Still need a Yakface to polish off the loose set, and then I hope to be right behind you in the chase for Vintage carded.  Hoping to start working on putting together a complete Vintage carded set.  It's going to be painful, time consuming, and EXPENSIVE, but I'll enjoy the hell out of doing it!

Good luck with your continued Vintage searches BDW.  Keep us up to date on your findings!

Awesome pickup you have there, and what a great figure to start off your collection.  Good thing you have it in an acrylic case.  That's the only way to go with the vintage carded figures.

I got this one from a Brians Toys Ebay auction. I will probably just get a few at a time, and go really slow on these. I want to get ROTJ carded Ewoks next.

I still need to work on a loose collection! :) I have a handful of vintage figs, but I dont think any are complete, and not sure about their condition. Right now they are tucked away in vintage figure cases lol I need to get a gameplan going on those.
