Just completed my first ROTS custom figure - and I think I did a good job.

It's Obi Wan w/ robes... will get pics up soon.

 :P

Awesome! Can't wait to see it!

As for me, I'm stumped as to what to do next. Hmm. Any suggestions on the HK figure?

On the HK figure... I am gonna make one too, and use the regular Overkill body except for the head.

I am thinking the Chopper Droid head might look cool on him.

Sounds like yours will be more accurate than mine.   :)

Feh. Who can say how many different HK models were designed throughout the Old Republic?  ;D Besides, a Chopper Droid head would look pretty cool.

Besides, that Overtkill body lends itself to a ton of different droid designs. I'll probably "steal" your finished design for one of my own as well!

Yeah, I suppose there could be several different models.  I really like the KOTOR designs... there are a lot of characters I will eventually make.

I am thinking I want to make some peasants or something from some of the Jedi.  I think also that the Kit Fisto body would make a great Rodian Jedi.

That Kit Fisto is great fodder. I plan on making some ole Republic Jedi's out of that one. The Ki Adi Mundi is surprisingly cool as well. I love the soft goods they added, it makes the figure underneath more versatile for customs.

I already made an improvement to my Agen Kolar; I cut the skirt on either side, allowing his legs to actually be useful. Now you can get him in some great (SPOILER ALERT) "cut down by Palpatine" poses.  ;)

The Kolar body is the base for my Obi Wan custom.  It's such a great figure, probably my favorite in the ROTS line.

I'm really digging the Plo Kloon figure as well. Makes me want to update my Quarren Jedi.  ;D

I'm disappointed in Mace, though. I'm going to cobble together a better one from the many Mace's of the past, with a few new Jedi parts as well.

I think the Agen Kolar body will make for a fine Mace Windu.  I plan on making mine sometime this week.

Almost everything is potential fodder.  The Jedi of course are some of the best, and the next up would be the guards.

Figs like Organa, Mon Mothma, etc., are all great fodder too though...  I actually wish the preview Wookie would show up again because he's dwindled in my area some.  I didn't get many of him on Clearance like I'd like to have done.  :(  He was pretty good fodder.  The upcoming 2nd warrior is good too...  All great repaint material.

Some of the collection 1 figs are less than stellar as not just figures but fodder too.  Obi's, Ani's, Mace...  Bleh.  That's not the majority though.

Even Clones have repaint potential beyond their army building qualities.

I don't have many figures yet, just a few, but I know I'll be buying extras as time/$ permit...  For customs and army building.

Since we're talking ROTS, here's my first "official" ROTS custom.

Very nice! I like the versatility of this figure--you really made a custom that works in a lot of situations.

The Agen robe looks a wee bit bulky on him, but that may just be the angle. Great job! So much better than the "Jedi Kick" figure we got from Hasbro...or the "swinging lightsaber" version with non-articulated knees...

...which is exactly why I am glad I am still there, so I can still see some of the great work by some of the members there.

Ehhh...I'd have liked to have seen it in pristine condition before it got the proverbial **** kicked out of it, but, whatever works I suppose. :-\
