We had a couple inches of snow last night, not a great drive to work this morning. Then around noon, freezing rain for a couple of hours & sitting at -7°C. I could hear it hitting the van while I was downtown around 2pm. No Sir, I don't like it. We get off work & yuk! Some snow on the vehicles & whatever was not covered in snow... ice!  >:(

We still have a freezing rain warning in effect for the city & surrounding areas. I shoveled the walks when I got home & you could hear the snow crunching.

Pittsburgh's seeing the coldest weather we've had in about a decade...  -20 windchills.  Single digit highs (at best, sometimes it's 0 and supposed to be a negative for the high here soon).  This is how it used to be in the winter when I was little...  at least more than recently.  It's been rough going any time I have to go anywhere since I freeze for the first while till the heater gets going...  Blah.

We've been getting snow and of course the temps are causing major freezing but the snow sorta died off a couple days ago and we've had nothing out of the norm.  Other than having to go anywhere, this is not all that bad...  It does make a simple trip down to the convenience store for a hogie a little crummy but Pittsburgh FINALLY feels like it should in the winter.  Took us long enough.

11 degrees in NY at the moment and feels like -2 with wind chill.  We've got to stop this damn global warming I'm sweating my ass off.  It should be a cool -30 degrees right now but because of all this pollution and industrialization and the ozone and the gases contributing to global warming, I gotta deal with this balmy and humid weather and temperatures in the teens.  I gotta go switch on the air conditioner, excuse me.
