Well here we go I guess, it's almost 1am here and it's raining out. I just looked at the forecast and... 

1°C: Overcast. Light flurries.

Tuesday overnight: -3°C: Flurries 60%.
Wednesday Morning: -5°C: A few flurries 40%.

Looks like it's game over man!

I hope it's flippin' game over! I cannot stress how much I hate this 75-80 degree weather we've been having down here. It's been 75+ since April (Although we had a cool period for some of October) and I want my snow!

After being in the 50's last week -- we're supposed to be in the mid to upper 80's this week   I'm glad I didn't put away the summer clothes yet.

Tomorrow's the first day of the fall when the temperature is not forecast to go above 0 C (32 F).  Not a happy day in general.

We dodged a huge bullet the other day (Tuesday).  Snow basically blew a path between me and Jesse, leaving both of us untouched.  About two hours west of us they got 30 cm of snow.  That's about a foot   It went from the west and cut a path to the north and went on by.  So there's a patch of Manitoba that's diagonal running from the southwest to the northeast that got piles of snow. 

Tomorrow's really nice, as was today, both about 50 F and as Dale said, slowly into the ******* we go.

I'll get a pick up later but holy snotballs (or in this case, snowballs) we just got nailed with snow.  A little under a foot so far and it's not supposed to stop for another 12 hours.  Heavy, heavy wet **** too.  My neighbour's car is stuck on our cul-de-sac and he just left it there in frustration, deciding to take the bus.  Lots of closed highways and all sorts of fun.

We are seeing our first snowfall of the season today, but its nothing major.  The ground is still too warm for it to collect anywhere outside of the grassy areas, but its slowly accumulating.  Streets and roads seem ok so far though.  I guess we're about due, being the middle of November and all.

We got a pretty downfall yesterday, but just the fluffy stuff, maybe a couple inches or so.

But did it ever cool off last night!  -12^oC (about 10^oF) is no biggy, but the bloody windchill brought it to -24^oC (about -10^oF). 

I shouldn't really complain, but it's the first real cold snap we've had.  My body's still in shock.

And yeah, we own an SUV.  Why?  Well, first thing this morning the snow was up to the axle's.  That'll get packed down but this snow isn't going anywhere until spring.  You can rail all you want against SUV's if you live in the south (and don't own a minivan) but don't bring that argument up here.
